Everything Everywhere All at Once is a particular unique sci-fi movie that comes along once in a while.

and yet again there is some dark humour in this review so please don’t watch if you are easily offended, and if you do watch and complain after arms up… so bottle up buttercups

For me, this film is a mixture of the following films.

The One as it has this sort of the multi-dimension sci-fi connection

The Matrix as this film woohoo’s your brain like a line of cocaine (eyes)

Million dollar baby cause this film at its heart has a deep story inside

and Kung Fu Hustle, the King Pooh fighting and the stupid humour

(dildo scene)

All these above films mixed together and you have Everything, Everywhere All at once

This film is directed by Daniel son Kwan and Danal Scream who both did the wacky film, Swiss Army Man.

This film has a great cast of Gay Hey Quad, Michelle Yesiactuallywould, and the fantastic breasts of the legendary Jamie Lee beef curtains.

So Lets Recap

The whole movie basically surrounds a woman called Evelyn that have made so many bad choices in her life and the word “Choices” is the main sci-fi theme in this film

The past shows us that Evelyn immigrated to America when she was young from her home country CHINA (trump)

Let’s go Deep……

And the present day she is married to her loyal but a bit of a loser husband,

her father looks disappointing in her all the time,

and her daughter that looks up to her is disappointed in her as she can’t accept that the daughter likes to eat carpet (south park carpet scene)

Her own laundry business is starting to have a few cracks and to make matters worse the American tax people are all over her.

and she’s even thinking about a Divorce from her loyal useless husband.

but that’s not all…….da dah

So this is when she gets her business accounts and goes to those naughty tax people to file her business reports

This is when things go totally bonkers and totally weird

Weird in a multi-dimensional portal, well sort of, has opened up and The fact her husband gets possessed by His multi-dimension character and warns her that she needs to fight in order to save her family

but she has no clue what the fucks are going on she has hope once again and is willing to do anything to help her family as she’s getting desperate.

but the enemy of the film in which is her own daughter from another dimension that has created a black hole of nothingness as she has been around the multidimensions and sees life as pointless, very pointless! She practically wants everyone and everything not to exist

This black hole is in a shape of a Big Donut (president)

But the opposite of this ying yang is the googly eyes you will see during this film, not that one (Harvey) but this one

The googly eyes are the opposite of nothingness and want life to exist in every dimension so there is a fight brewing.

anyways that’s the basics of this film and we will stop there as I don’t want to spoil it too much for you…

Negatives of everything everywhere all at once

There are a few negatives in this sci-fi film, the first one is that the storyline can be very overwhelming on the first showing, some people can pick it up straight away and others will take a few or lots of viewings. Or googling

The only other negative and I’m being very very very picky here is that the film goes on about 10 minutes too long, personally, I think the ending whole ending should have been shortened a little!

and there are not enough dildo fighting scenes….so disappointing

Overall everything everywhere all at once

A unique deep family storyline that is deep as Jordan’s birth machine. Amazing story about nothingness! in which sometimes we all feel this in our own personal lives. The sci-fi elements are brilliant, the action is great and the humour is just right

A very satisfying story that is totally bonkers, totally original but somehow really bloody works and it really works well

I would watch this film every year and not be bored

This is a unique movie and make sure you add it to your sci-fi collection

and that’s why Im giving it a
